Seaside

The town of Seaside is built on 80 acres of Florida’s Gulf Coast, and is acclaimed world-wide as one of the iconic examples of New Urbanism. Even Seaside’s slogan, “a simple, beautiful life,” reads like a refuge from the fast-paced, large cities in which many of its guests flock. Located just off Scenic Highway 30A on Florida’s Emerald Coast, this town is known for its gorgeous white sand and shimmering emerald green water coastline, stunning architecture, bounty of fresh Gulf seafood, and plentiful shopping. It’s also famous for being the too-pretty-to-be-real setting for the movie The Truman Show. The best way to truly appreciate Seaside’s character is to experience it from the comfort of your own beach cottage, and most are a short stroll from the thriving town center providing proximity to the community’s 12 restaurants and eateries and 41 shops and galleries.
